Trial by Fire Book Safe

I’m a big fan of the reverse of the Great Seal of the United States, or the Eye of Providence (in blue on the cover), though I’m more familiar with it as the all-seeing eye, which is much more ominous and sinister sounding. That might also stem from its ties to Masonry and the conspiracies concerning their involvement in the founding of the U.S. Those theories are generally accepted as false since Ben Franklin was the only guy involved in the seal’s design to have been a known Mason, and apparently his suggestions didn’t pass muster. Plus, it seems the Masons only used the eye sporadically at the time of design and it only became a standard of theirs about a decade later.

This is a classy looking book safe. It has a red, cloth binding with gold gilt, while the rest of the cover is a white faux leather with a gold border and the reverse of the Great Seal of the United States, or the Eye of Providence, in blue.
