The New York Times Garden Book

This is a big, beautiful book safe, but my favorite part is the photo I included in the compartment for the people who prefer to go foam free. It’s a classic and typical picture of kid helping his dad do yard work. As you’d expect, the hapless kid appears miserable. I imagine his friends are just out of frame playing football. I can completely commiserate; been there, done that. When I moved to SoCal, it seemed EVERYONE had gardeners. Growing up in a blue collar town, my brother and I were the de facto gardeners and we were a helluva lot cheaper than any immigrant people seem so fearful of.

The color of this book escapes me. I’m going to say it’s a rose-like color since it’s a gardening book. It also features beautiful gold type and graphics on the binding, with the graphic motif carried onto the front cover in dark green. Also, the name John Chilcote is written on the inside, so if that name appears on the credit card of PayPal account by the buyer, you’ll get 20% off. Click Contact Us and we’ll work it out.
