When I was a bartender, I learned not to talk religion. Well, I was ADVISED not to, and I tried, man I tried. It’s just such an interesting subject. I went to Catholic school up until 1st grade. That’s how long I lasted! Sister Rose Marie was my 1st grade teacher and I didn’t feel she was a very good ambassador for the religion. She was quite the disciplinarian. If I’m to be fair, I kind of had my own agenda and seemed to think it was more important than hers. I guess maybe I was a bit of an anarchist, though she probably would’ve said antichrist. The next year I was in public school, ostensibly because the good Sister wanted me to see a psychiatrist due to my not being more like my brother. She may have been on to something, because my brother is a librarian, while I’m converting books into safes.
