Richards Topical Encyclopedia Vol. 10

This is a classic, regal volume that exudes erudition, even after extracting it’s information. Now it can be filled with whatever reality you choose, since it seems that’s how we’re relating with the world these days. Karl Rove said that some live “”in what we call the reality-based community,” which he defined as people who “believe that solutions emerge from your judicious study of discernible reality.” … “That’s not the way the world really works anymore,” he continued. “We’re an empire now, and when we act, we create our own reality.” If that’s what you believe, you should probably hide that fact in this book safe.

This Richards Topical Encyclopedia book safe has a lot of bells and whistles. The deep maroon cover is accented with a nicely contrasting black that is contained in impressions on the front and binding. There are many embellishments on the spine, and it looks like the type may have been gold once. The front has what I think is a Viking ship indented on it. It’s in excellent condition for being over 70 years old.
