HUGE Columbia Encyclopedia

The HUGE Columbia Encyclopedia is produced by Columbia University, a very prestigious institution indeed. This specimen is the result of the book’s first major revision since its inception in 1935. And what a specimen it is. Clocking in at over 4 lbs. (a mere pittance compared to its original weight) and 12 inches in length, this imposing publication is positively primed for putting stuff in. Ok, that alliteration fell apart at the end, I’ll admit it. The point is, this behemoth could house an entire zombie survival kit, and I’m pretty sure zombie’s don’t read, or do research papers for that matter. I suppose if they did they’d do it all online, right? Jeez, this write-up has really degenerated. It went from Ivy League to living dead in 2 sentences flat, a Slybrary record!

This is one of those books that has its own pedestal in your more traditional library. The Public Slybrary puts ALL of its books on pedestals. That said, these jumbo jobbers are kind of exceptional as far as safes go. The sheer volume this volume can contain speaks volumes. Enough said.
