Guinness Book of World Records 1990

I remember getting one of these as a kid and literarily devouring it. It’s not official, but I think I set the record for reading that particular copy. For a while I was determined to be in the book for real some day. Seemed like the easiest way was to tackle the one for longest finger nails. My parents thwarted that one. I hadn’t thought about it until now, but as I do, I sense some residual resentment in tact. I’ll talk to my therapist. Speaking of my bartender, the Guinness in the title is the same as the beer. The managing director of the breweries was shooting birds in ol’ North Slob (sounds lovely) and got into an argument over the fastest game bird in Europe. One pint led to another and lo we have this wonderful book safe to hide your personal records in.

This one’s all about the graphics. It looks like a guy’s throwing a frisbee to a tree frog. That should be enough, but there’s still more on the front AND back. Text and graphics on the entire cover.
