Tales Of Fantasy Fortune Teller/Keeper™ Book Safe

I’m going to have to start researching books like Tales of Fantasy a bit more prior to repurposing, just to get enough to write about without rambling on about nothing, like this, for instance. This is number 4 in the 20 book series printed by the Auxiliary Educational League of Chicago. The series was intended to give young readers an overview of literature, science, and history. This one had 12 “tales of fantasy,” including “Gulliver in Lilliput” by Jonathan Swift, “The Rose and the Ring”, by W.M. Thackeray and several tales from The Arabian Nights.

Judging the book by the cover: tan cloth boards with decorative black lines and borders on the front, surrounding the title in black on green and a ghostly girl in the tan cloth, outlined in green in a lime green background containing a tan floral motif. More of the same on the spine only the image appears to be of some sort of playing card king.

Inner beauty: traditional Fortune Teller/Keeper™ ‘ouija’ board; in the cavity is an image of a girl in the forest, who happens to be the subject of the accompanying very short story; the planchette showcases a faerie, or sprite, or some sort of elf with dragonfly wings.
